Once every two years a fantastic group of photographers from the Douglas County area come together to exhibit their most recent work at the Cultural Arts Center of Douglasville/Douglas County. Come celebrate the Sweetwater Camera Club and the art of vision as told through the lens. Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, October 8, 5-7 pm.
A Drive-Boo event! This year’s event will provide patrons the opportunity to dress-up, Trick-or-Treat and participate in the traditional Halloween activities, while staying inside their vehicles and following social distancing guidelines. We invite everyone to come out and celebrate with us! The Douglasville Police Department, in partnership with Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, is sponsoring a Jamboree at our Community House “House of Hope” located at 8304 Hollis Street, Douglasville, GA,. The Jamboree will include information from several surrounding city and county resources, a Spades tournament, balloon animals, kids activities, food, music, and more. There will be something to do for everyone. Parking available at Simpson’s Mortuary adjacent to the event.

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County is hosting its annual fundraising gala, themed “Candyland” on November 21st from 6 – 10 pm. This year the event will take place at The Douglasville Conference Center. Come enjoy a tasteful dinner, a stylish cash bar, classy music for dancing, charming Silent & Live Auction.
